STALE and OLD candy I got a package of this from a friend in Canada and wanted more. I found it online here and the quality did not even come close to what I got from my friend. These bars were not light and fluffy like what I experienced the first time. These were hard and rather than have a “crisp” when you bit into it, it was more like a “crack”. Fantastic Canadian chocolate bars! I read about this chocolate bar on Reddit and wanted to check it out as I am a coffee drinker, generally enjoy Canadian products and loves chocolate (who doesn’t?). I generally am not a big fan of wafer products, but found this to be well balanced and enjoyed it. I was sure to share these with several people and they all stated they loved them as well. I felt the price was appropriate considering the work it probably takes to import these.
Canada’s best export! Used to get these from a Canadian friend that moved to the US. Every time she went back to visit, she would bring me a few home. She has since moved away but at least these are available here. The box is packaged very well, you just need to have some willpower to keep from eating them all at once. I hide mine in our pantry so they are out of sight and out of mind.
