Beautiful, until the coating starts to come off. My review on this mug would have been 5 stars up until this point (3 months later). I use 2 of the 4 mugs a couple times a week. I only wash it with mild soap and water and the apparent food grade laquor appears to be deteriorating. I bought some polish in the areas that seem to be effected, and sure enough, it shines right up, which means that the coating they put on these comes off eventually. The reason I bought this set (other than just wanting my own copper Mule mugs) was to bring them to a bachelorette party with all the fixings to make Irish Mules.
