ROASTING COFFEE IN TOASTER OVEN For several years I have been roasting coffee with a $170+ Fresh Roast SR500. But what I am able to do with this inexpensive roasting drum and a toaster oven, is virtually identical. I will never buy another expensive roaster again. I first tried to use it with an electric grill that had a rotisserie device, but it was taking a really long time as there was nothing to retain the heat near the drum. Fits right on the shaft of my rotisserie toaster oven I bought this to use with a Hamilton Beach rotisserie toaster oven that I am modifying into a coffee roasting machine.The drum installed easily on the rotisserie shaft of the oven, and the wing bolts that came with the meat skewers were perfect for securing the drum to the shaft. I had to change the wiring in the oven to make the drum rotate when the oven is set to the convection mode. I also need to swap out the rotisserie motor to a higher rpm unit to optimize the oven for coffee…

Doesn’t last Had this drum for 2 months to roast coffee beans and I was happy with the product but the small piece holding the drum shut just came off. Doesn’t last very long. If you roast frequenters i would recommend finding another product
