I purchased these to use when making yogurt. I … I purchased these to use when making yogurt. I line a colander and let the yogurt drain which thickens it and makes it less tart as well. Since 1000 filters would last a very long time for this use, I also use them in my coffeemaker. They completely line the part where the ground coffee goes and less grounds get through to the carafe.
