So great I really like this coffee maker. The coffee comes out perfectly and will not scald on the hot pad. It is very easy to use and maintain. It even has a built in water filter (of which you can buy more here at Amazon). Mine seems to be perfect at this time. However, I bought this one as a replacement for one which dribbled at the seam of the carafe (where handle attaches) and for which the clock stopped functioning.
