2nd one of these I’ve owned. Now to address the drama queens. This is the second one of these that we’ve bought, Immediately after the first one died. The first one lasted us over 15 years, I think. I can’t remember when we bought it. All I know is that this was a great simple little coffee maker that did one thing, make coffee, and had an unbreakable carafe. 6 ounces is the new 8! We wanted a smaller coffee pot after the last one bit the dust. Figured we both drink about 2 cups per morning so an 8 cup machine should be perfect. Ordered this one but it seemed we were always out of coffee too soon. So I measured the water we were putting in the machine. Turns out it only holds 5 cups of water! The eight on the side means nothing. Turns out a cup of coffee is only 6 oz NOT 8 oz. When did this happen? Be aware. This is not 8 actual cups of coffee. Just saying..
