Cannot Turn Off Loud Alert While this model was fine with making coffee, the horrible beeping was too much. There is no way to turn off the alert and it is so loud that it terrified my dog (yes, my dog is insane) to the point I had to ditch this coffee maker. Initially, I attempted to follow along with some YouTube videos and disable the alert. Seems to work great for the first month to month and half then … I’m now on my second coffee maker. They both eventually stop making the correct amount of coffee, despite cleaning as instructed. The clean light never comes on. What happens is I put 8 cups of water in the reservoir and only 6 cups of coffee are made.
