Have owned it 2 or 3 months now, use it several times a day. You CAN customize the 3 cup sizes to 3 different ranges (smaller, default (medium), and larger), the manual explains how. Default is the midrange (4oz, 6oz, 8oz), but you can set it to the smaller side or the larger side which I believe adds or subtracts 2 oz from each size (2oz/4oz/6oz; 4oz/6oz/8oz; 8oz/10oz/12oz).
