Small Footprint + Great Value = Buy It I am happy with my purchase, but let me address other reviews that almost made me not buy this k-cup brewer:1) “Hard to fill up.” This has nothing to do with this k-cup brewer. Try using your coffee mug as a precision water pouring device and you will be sorely disappointed. YES, water DOES go everywhere if you try and aim water out of a coffee mug. The reason is there is not a pouring lip on a coffee mug. Duh. Solution: we keep a Pyrex measuring cup next to the coffee mugs…
Leaks badly but there is a workaround Leaks in the drip cycle in ways that can enter behind the switch panel. It also drips over the on-off switch. This all seems rather dangerous. I tried using less water. I also tried with and without a k-cup. Nothing works. The water ejection is too forceful. Additionally, and after ten leaky cycles with distilled water to try to clean, there is still a strong plastic smell in the water and the steam from the top of the unit. Easy to use, easy to please, easy on the pocket I seriously cut down on my coffee ( 1-2 pots a day) to possibly 1-2 cups a day. I wanted a machine that did single serve but didn’t cost an arm and leg. I found this after a long search. It arrived very quickly and was very easy to understand how to use. I did a trial run and it worked like a charm. Even my husband who can’t make normal coffee, can do it with this machine. I don’t have to set it up for him the night before. I love this machine. Worth the money I didn’t spend on it!
