a winner! i had had it with the last 2 Cuisinart coffee makers i had. one thing or another was an annoyance. nothing broken, just designed wrong. this coffee maker is a pleasure AND you can actually read the clock! (and it’s back-lit!) Sure beats our last coffee maker! Husband loves it; they say no water filter. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of that. There is a place in the tank where our old water filters fit perfectly. hmmm. We had Krups in the past, then got a Cuisinart – that one nearly caught fire and didn’t last 2 years.. So back to Krups we went, and will stay!
