Superior coffee maker for its price point This is definitely a “tweener” product – the kind of product that exists in most product categories somewhere between the elite products made for true (and affluent) connoisseurs, and budget versions aimed at people who are just not as interested, picky, or well-funded. Sure beats our last coffee maker! Husband loves it; they say no water filter. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of that. There is a place in the tank where our old water filters fit perfectly. hmmm. We had Krups in the past, then got a Cuisinart – that one nearly caught fire and didn’t last 2 years.. So back to Krups we went, and will stay!
