Good espresso, but just not worth the hassle. I bought this machine to replace another Hamilton Beach (Cappuccino Plus Espresso) machine that was gifted to me years ago.For me, the pros of this machine are its price, ability to make an excellent cup of espresso with good crema & the machine looks good on the kitchen counter.The cons, unfortunately, is that it is extremely LOUD. GREAT PRODUCT! Great product! I actually got 2 of these machines. One for my house and another one for my mom’s house. My mom also loves it. (SUPER EASY TO USE! for the older folks) The product is great. But if I have to say something bad about the product is that I feel like the coffee “espresso” itself isn’t strong enough. I tried making the espresso with all different kinds of coffee. (medium roast and dark roast) But yes if you want the extreme espresso you should go for the dark roast instead…
Wotks as good or better than my saeco aroma This thing works great, as good as my much more expensive saeco aroma. This unit is just for our basement bar so I didn’t want to spend a ton and so far works great with thick crema.One piece of advice for people that have their units scaling up, use distilled water!!!!!If you have hard water from a well or poor quality city water it’s going to build up scale and you will have to flush it with vinager or some other descaler. Distilled water has no dissolved minerals and won’t clog…
