Great, Affordable Coffee Maker–Just Don’t Break Any of the Parts! This coffee maker produces excellent coffee for a low price. I especially like using a plastic filter that keeps me from throwing away a paper filter every day. The reason I have given the product three stars is that, after about two months of careful use, my carafe has a hairline crack toward the handle. I have taken every precaution (as per the instructions) when using this glass carafe, doing my best to treat it gently and avoid rough handling that may cause it to break. Even so, accidents…
