You also have the option to skip the grinding process if you are brewing readymade powder. The machine can make 2,4,6,8,10, or 12 cups of coffee. There is a 24 hour preset timer allowing you to have the machine start at any given time you desire. The functions are displayed on a lit LCD screen. The unit is full stainless steel and has a reusable easy-clean filter and a removable funnel with an anti-drip valve. The glass carafe can hold up to 12 cups. Unjustifiable price. Very sparse, unclear instructions. Even for two cups (one average mug) the coffee is too lukewarm to drink. Cannot change beans for decaf in the evening until all the caffeinated beans are finished, or you just have to put the exact amount of beans each time. On the positive side, ease of cleaning the reusable filter and its plastic support funnel. But the reusable filter seems very fllimsy, not a metal mesh, so it may not last long. No info about using paper filters or a better permanent…
Wanted to Give 2 ** The spout spills when I try to pour a cup. There is no difference in the grind selection. It does not stay hot long enough to enjoy a cup two hours later. I am back to using my old Cusinart which I love but I thought I could have a coffee grinder included to eliminate an extra electrical appliance. Boy was I wrong.
Nice coffee maker but Very disappointed We purchased the Keyton grind and brew automatic drip coffee maker in April and within a month the carafe had broken. Since then We have had no success finding a replacement carafe through either Amazon or Keaton. Nice coffee maker but Very disappointed.
