The Flair Signature is our flagship model of the Flair Espresso Maker. Made with the same high quality materials – like stainless steel and aluminum – as our original Flair, the Signature models are defined by an extra hand-polishing process needed with the chrome, matte black and copper finishes. All Flair Signature models come ready with a stainless steel tamper and our Bottomless 2-in-1 Portafilter to produce the very best in manual espresso.

Product Features

  • HANDCRAFT SHOTS OF ESPRESSO – The Flair is a 100% human-powered, manual espresso press. With the Flair Espresso Maker, you have a complete manual espresso machine that can produce professional quality shots of espresso from your home, or wherever you are. Add 60ml of boiled water and a dose of up to 18 grams to yield a 40 ml shot with beautiful crema. A burr grinder is essential for use with this product.
  • STAINLESS STEEL TAMPER – The Plus version of the Flair Espresso Maker features a custom stainless steel tamper, that fits well in the hand and will enhance any manual espresso experience. In addition, each Signature Series manual espresso maker from Flair comes standard with our bottomless 2-in-1 portafilter for naked or spouted brewing.
  • EASY TO CLEAN – The Flair Espresso Maker is the only manual espresso maker with a completely detachable brewing head. This patented design allows for users to completely remove the brewing head, separate the parts, and rinse under cool water.
  • FULLY PORTABLE – All Flair Espresso Makers come standard with our precision cut and padded carrying case meaning you can take your manual espresso maker anywhere you’d like.
  • BUILT TO LAST – Made from durable materials like cast aluminum and stainless steel, you can be sure your manual espresso maker, by Flair, is built to last. Both the aluminum press stand and the stainless steel brewing head are backed by a 5-year warranty.

The best portable espresso maker on the market. I love this product and design. I have been looking for a compact espresso maker for the road to come close to what I have been using at home. I had Ranchilio Silvia, then Breville Oracle that I really enjoy but can’t take with me when I travel. I tried many portable devices. I tried the ROK and some other less expensive makers like Handpresso, and Minipresso that work but don’t give you the quality or crema of a home set up that costs at least $1000-$2000. I also discovered another little…

there’s no denying this is a great looking piece of hardware After unboxing and setting up the unit, there’s no denying this is a great looking piece of hardware. The metal components have a nice heft, and the black frame/copper base definitely invoke the coffee theme.Upon using it, I noticed the portafilters required a little bit of force to click into the base and sit level. This didn’t seem intentional, but more like a tolerance issue, because one portafilter exhibited the issue more than the other, and both exhibited the issue to…

Fiddly at first, but ultimately it pulls a great shot of espresso! Nice build quality, but fiddly to put all the pieces together just for a shot of espresso. You also need a hot bowl of water to put some of the pieces in before you pull a shot. If you want to make lattes, you’ll also need a milk frother (?) and a device to heat the milk (I use a small saucepan on the stove for a couple of minutes). Oh, you’ll also need a burr grinder to grind up the coffee beans fine enough to pull a good shot. A hack that I found from another Amazon user was to buy a good…
