Great machine, very happy with my purchase after much searching. Pros and Cons outlined. So I searched far and wide for an espresso maker… And when I say searched, I don’t mean I went on Amazon for a day, looked at 2 or 3 and thought this one was the best bet. Seriously, I looked for at least a month before buying this (for a couple hundred dollar machine, probably was a bit too lengthy of a search). It didn’t go bad until December 2017 I have been making Mint Mochas for almost 20 years at home. Anyone who uses these at home knows that a home machine, unless you are spending hundreds of dollars, only lasts for a certain number of years (if you’re lucky). that was good. i find that i have to press a … i have had this for several months. i have made many shots. i did buy the metal tamper, that was good. i find that i have to press a lot, even with the finest grind my burr grinder will do. sure the pump makes noise, i do not know how you can generate that much pressure quietly. yes if you are not care full you can spill out the float into the sink when you turn the drain container upside down, but, come on….. take care of your equipment. the strainer is held in quite well. i do not…
