The DeLonghi BCO330T Combination Espresso and Drip Coffee Maker with Programmable Timer puts you in the driver’s seat. You can’t beat the spontaneity: you can brew espresso and coffee at the same time. Enjoy full flavor saturation with the patented Flavor Savor brewing system, and choose the strength of your espresso and coffee with the flavor dial. And you’re just moments away from whipping up a great latte or cappuccino thanks to the swivel jet frother. Another adjustment you can make relates to the steam emission, which you can tailor for espresso or cappuccino beverages. With a programmable digital timer, the machine can coordinate with your daily schedule so that it’s ready to serve you when you need coffee most, and it turns itself off for safety and efficiency when you’ll be away. The gold-tone permanent filter never needs to be replaced. Have up to 10 cups of coffee ready to serve with the large capacity carafe. The water tank slides out of the machine for convenient filling and cleaning, and a water filtration system removes chemicals and dissolved solids that could mess with the flavor of your coffee. The drip interrupt feature shuts off brewing when the carafe is removed so that you won’t have to wait for the whole pot to brew before pouring a cup. This machine is also equipped to save you from the unpleasantness and health hazard of stale coffee via its LED freshness indicator lights. An additional light illuminates every 15 minutes for the first hour to let you know how long the coffee has been standing. It works okay, but needs some redesigning I use both sides of this unit almost everyday: I make iced lattes to take to work during the week, and use the drip side for brewing herbal teas for iced tea.For the iced lattes, I use the espresso maker only (no frothing). The instruction manual says to line up the arrow on the coffee holder handle to the arrow on the unit just above it. It also wants you to run water through it without anything in the coffee holder four times before you use it for coffee. When you do that, hot…

it is pretty awesome. Espresso is super simple to make and … As a past Starbucks barista of 4 years, for what this machine does, it is pretty awesome. Espresso is super simple to make and tastes pretty damn good. Cant complain about the drip coffee. The frother works wonderfully, especially if you have previous experience with steam wands. Made a pretty mean cappuccino foam and was pretty proud of the machines capabilities. Could have floated a quarter on it! Would definitely purchase again in the future, when this one hits the dust.

Jillian says:

Fancy, for a little while… Just bought this in March 2017, and it already died! I used it every morning… worked fine on Saturday morning. By Sunday morning, nothing. The espresso side still works, but I had to get out my old coffee maker, a Krups Il Caffe Duomo, also a coffee/espresso combo maker, just to make coffee. Doesn’t have all the fancy functions as the new Delonghi one, but I’ve had it over 10 years and besides the back cover hinge breaking off, always functioned perfectly. If you can find one of those- buy…
