They still make a great grinder I bought my first Capresso grinder 30 years ago and retired it because the motor was no longer grinding an entire batch of beans.My new Capresso produces the same coarse grind that I need daily for my Percolator and French Press. It is simple to use and easier to clean than the older one that I let go.
Works well but leaves grounds behind. So far after two uses it works very well. Very quiet compared to other grinders I’ve used. I used the beginning of the “Very Fine” grind setting and it is more than fine enough for my Chemex and the settings could get quite a bit finer. A simple on-off switch would be more useful than the timer.There are a fair amount of grounds left in the grinder and I had to hit the side of the grinder to force those out, and then there is still some left in the grinding chamber so it will need cleaned…
