Love My Bunn! I purchased the Bunn BXB Velocity Brew coffee maker to replace my old 1989 Bunn which started leaking at the bottom. Yes, 1989. My coffee pot was only a few years younger than me and I loved that thing. But, it was leaking so I thought it was done for and ordered this Bunn to replace it.The first two I received were either broken or scratched so I sent them back. Great coffee maker I tried the highly rated Cuisinart 14 cup, and then I returned it and bought this instead. I like that this machine seems to have good longevity. It’s basic and simple and I don’t need anything more. This machine at the very least serves as an always ready electric kettle for hot water if I decide to make tea or use my French press, but also makes a very good pot of coffee if I don’t want to take the time for the other methods. Bunn coffee makers are not what they used to be. Don’t waste your time with this one, you will end up returning it. From the very first time I filled it water kept coming out of the holes that drain Any water that didn’t make it to tank. I found that the plastic right under the fill area had a crack in it and was leaking water inside the coffee maker. Right underneath that is all the wiring for the hot plate. Had it not leaked on me right away it would have eventually shorted out the hot plate. Also one of the plastic post that holds a screw…
