Bought in 2012, still working great in 2018 I’ve had this little beastie for 6years and counting of use 2-3 times a week, you can also use it to make quick hot water – just leave the dispenser tub in and take the filter out (you can leave it in but the water will have a coffee taste). I use it for teabags and cocoa packets too (leave the teabag in the cup of course). Perfect. 20oz yeti fits perfectly So far it seams great one thing is was hoping was if my 20oz yeti cup would fit and it does perfectly it’s a couple mm shorter than the one that comes with it. Although keep in mind it will still only brew 16 oz so don’t overfill if you go with bigger cup. I bought this to use in my camper cause it’s so compact and no glass carafe but if the one in my house goes out il probably replace it with one of these.
Great for travel even! I carry this in my check on suitcase for making an excellent cup of coffee right in my hotel room. I purchase any fresh ground coffee I want. I buy a 12 pack of bottled water like PureLife at Walmart for example. One of those bottles fits perfectly for a brew. Personally I treat the cup that comes with the machine like a carafe and pour the coffee into my favorite travel mug. This is my second brewer.
