Good solution for those wanting coffee on the go. Granted, I have not owned this maker for long so my review may be modified later. I have owned a number of B&D coffee makers in the past…some very good, some not so much so I was a little hesitant to make the plunge again. What I was looking for was a small footprint, and a stainless mug….AND hot coffee. Fortunately, mission accomplished. The fact it has a timer is a bonus. Brew time was around 4 minutes. After some experimenting with coffee amount I’m happy with the coffee The coffee comes out SO hot that I need to remove the top from the travel mug in order to drink it. The coffee taste….hard to explain…it’s….skinny and a little bitter.I always feel unsatisfied that I didn’t have that great cup of morning coffee. I bought this cause I don’t always have time to boil water for the French Press. If you’re a coffee snob it’s not for you. Makes a nice quick hot cup o joe Had the previous one and still use it but this one lets you use a taller cup…works great hot coffee
