It’s size and shape are quaint with a wide opening to make pouring hot water easy and the tiny spout is shaped well that the tea doesn’t spill all over the place. Fun! This is my first teapot and when I purchased it, I didn’t realize it wasn’t one I could heat on the stove (I’m a tea novice) so I had to go out and buy an actual tea kettle to heat my water. It’s so convenient to be able to put the tea in the strainer, pour the water through and then let it just steep.
