I like French press coffee and I like it hot For me this keeps coffee hot for quite a while. But that is a relative statement so here are some facts. I like French press coffee and I like it hot. So before using this carafe with coffee I ran this trial. I filled the carafe with 140 deg F water while I brought the water kettle I use for french press to 210 deg (I know French Press isn’t to be over 185 deg). Extremely happy with this Zojirushi Carafe! I am quite happy to leave a review for this Carafe. I have had so many carafe’s that just didn’t keep our coffee hot for more than 3 hours and decided to do a Google search on carafe’s.
