Huge LEAK on first use! Nice coffee STAINS ON CARPET! We got this for our team event. On its very first use, it started leaking profusely when the coffee was getting hot. It stained the carpet very nicely – not! So if you have light-colored carpet, beware of this West Bend coffee urn. Luckily one of the parents saw the leak and notified us before the whole pot (100 cups) would empty out on the floor.The see-through coffee gauge tube was not properly installed by West Bend and sprung a big leak at the base of the gauge tube – Look…

Old faithful I replaced a pot exactly the same that I have had for 30 years. Not fancy, but an old standby. I make coffee for a group of 20 or so who visit the pot throughout the morning.
