Wonderful pot! This is a wonderful pot — especially considering the price. Others that are smaller are much more pricey. This holds two full pots of coffee easily (maybe more!) and keeps it hot for hours. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is that we take it in the car when we travel and discovered the hard way that it has to be kept upright; when it’s on its side, it leaks a little.
A good pot if you are careful cleaning it. Purchased this unit for work at the end of May 2015. We go trough 2-4 pots of coffee six days a week so this unit has seen a lot of use. I was wary of purchasing this unit based on the mixed reviews- maybe it depends on the pot. This one has been doing a good job of keeping our coffee warm long enough to drink. (Our previous pot was a name brand that would let the coffee get COLD in under two hours.)The top has an open/closed switch. When closed you can’t depress the top to pump coffee…
Worth every penny and then some. Fantastic pot this here VonShef!! After considerable reviews on several makes and models, I settled on the VonShef for it’s design, content size and exceptional reviews, not to mention excellent price for all that. And I must say I am not the slightest disappointed. This thing lives up to it’s reputation as among (if not the) the best airpot out there. So easy to clean (I can get my hand down in it to sponge clean), set up, and it keeps my coffee hot All Day Long without sacrificing freshness…
