very nice percolator and makes awesome coffee but the basket may be aluminum and its made in china First of all the pic shown here looks a little greenish but the pot isn’t it’s nice shiny stainless steel. The glass globe is why I purchased this item since other pots have plastic globes, however I think the basket assembly may be aluminum and its made in china. These two features got a star knocked off. One nice feature is the hole size in the filter basket – they’re a lot smaller than other pots, if you use a burr coffee grinder you’ll get a really consistent grind which needs to be coarse…

Buyer Beware!! Poorly made Product. Very disappointed and very poorly made. I ordered a pot just before going camping so I pretty much used it right away, I’m glad I did. The first pot of coffee turned out great although some coffee grounds escaped which I know could happen. The second pot of coffee had way too much coffee grounds in the pot, I had to dump the whole thing. As I was pouring the contents out, a shard of glass caught my attention. After analyzing the pot I noticed the glass came from the percolator part of the lid…

Works great! As most mention it will work better with a coffee filter. I don’t use a coffee filter although, It will also spill from too much pressure all I did to fix this was unscrew the top handle a little to let more vapor out decreasing the air flow. When I first got it I must admit I thought about sending it back, but like anything once you get a hang of how to work it, it works out just fine. I’ve used it almost every day for the last 5 months or so.My tips for great use.1…
