A basic how-to chapter provides planting techniques, a tools and materials list, sourcing and plant care information, and expert advice.

Big on inspiration, less so on education There is a lot to love here. The arrangements are truly stunning and original. The author is very specific about the size of the plants that go into each “recipe” as well as how long you can expect it to last. My book is already well peppered with post-its. What isn’t as clear is that A LOT of the plants are difficult to find. Don’t assume you can bookmark a recipe and trot down to your local nursery to get what you need. This book is perfect for me! This book is perfect for me! I’m not creative enough to design my own arrangements, but I can follow directions very well. The photos are beautiful and each recipe comes with a clear list of recommended container, potting mix, and plants, even in what order to place the plants in the pot. I’ve followed several recipes and truly enjoy each one! So professional looking!
Wonderful combinations of growing plants with detailed instructions! Gorgeous pictures of arrangements composed of potted plants. Every project has detailed step by step instructions. There are lots of beautiful creative arrangements that will grow for weeks or more in the house. This book should give you lots of great ideas to combine plants to make them much more fascinating than a single pot of, say, rabbit’s foot fern. This book is a lot of fun!
