Not impressed with content. Was not at all what I expected–was going to give it as a gift but was too ordinary and basic; I bought it for a new bar tender but the content was mostly common knowledge of regular drinks.And what was worse than the book was trying to return it!! I scheduled a pick-up like the return said on Amazon but when UPS showed up they didn’t have a label like AMAZON said they would, and they refused to take it without the label. Inconsistent. Weird. Choppy. I didn’t like it at all. Is it a reference book for how to make drinks? Is it a dictionary for drink terms? It kept on switching it up and didn’t make any sense. It failed at both tasks. It did not have a cohesive narrative, nor was it a dictionary, nor was it a recipe book. I don’t know what this book was trying to accomplish. Great for home or work Even in the age of the interwebs, this book is indispensable. Very informative about more obscure liquors, bitters, and recipes. I enjoy just flipping to a random page and reading about something new!
