Best tasting chicory tea EVER I love the flavor of coffee yet can’t handle the acid. I had chicory coffee in NOLA. After endless tasting different brands, I found Teeccino flavored chicory teas to be the BEST. I love all the flavors and enjoy it being caffeine free. ABSOLUTELY GREAT! My sister introduced me to this when I … ABSOLUTELY GREAT! My sister introduced me to this when I was visiting Boulder. I don’t know about it being a coffee substitute but a)it has the richness of coffee b)the chocolate flavor is WONDERFUL c)it’s the drink I now have more often than not with dinner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It’s utterly delicious. FOOTNOTE: You do feel a bit of an energy rush when you drink it but is not as harsh as caffeine.
Gentle Tea I have a stomach condition (gastroparesis) which puts most drinks off-limits – no carbonation, no alcohol, no acid etc. I can’t drink regular tea and most herbal teas, or coffee. But this tea tastes really really good and never causes any irritation. I am still experimenting with strengths (two teabags) and additives (stevia) so I don’t know how good it can get, but so far it is one of the best tasting herbal teas in my experience and seems to be the only one I can freely drink.
