Great Inspiration But Unevenly Tested Recipes It’s a gorgeously photographed book, and I will say that the challah bread turned out beautifully. However, I have an intuition for challah and was able to assess how well the bread would turn out and make small changes as I was making it. I was not so lucky when I attempted to make the pretzels. The proportions of liquids to flour were way off. The dough was clearly too wet, but I shrugged it off because perhaps pretzel dough is meant to be that way? However, once it was clear the recipe…
