Defective seal??? I bought the silver white carafe – Other reviews are correct: it IS quite beautiful to look at; however, nowhere in website’s description does it state that the outside of this carafe is all plastic – including handle, base, spout, sides, quite possibly the design, and the top. Keeps drink hot for long time. To be honest, I did not expect that this carafe will keep the beverage warm for few hours, but I liked the design and it was a reason to buy this beautiful carafe.
