FILL IT WITH HOT WATER AND LET IT SIT FOR 5 MINUTES BEFORE YOU POUR IN YOUR DRINK First, I want to acknowledge a lot of the frustrations that have been posted about this product, and yes I am familiar with the old Stanley thermoses, but I honestly believe this does hold up when used properly. In the old Stanley models you never had to warm them up, at least from watching my dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa fill theirs up.
