Stainless steel carafe. OOoo. This carafe keeps your liquid of choice hot for HOURS. I use it for tea. I made a pot in the morning around 8 am, it was still scalding hot at 7:30 pm. Gorgeous! Worth every penny!!! This is stunning! The brushed and chrome stainless steel combination is elegant and practical at the same time. This holds 68 ounces and it really keeps hot things hot. I am not much of a tea drinker so I definitely use this for coffee. I love having it out on my table and being able to reach for it, knowing my coffee will still be hot. Nice but did not fully meet expectations. Very elegant look and easy to fill and pour from. I am disappointed though, that it does not maintain heat for very long even with pre-filling with hot water. My other insulated carafe held heat over night. After about 4 hours with this one, it is room temp. It will work nicely though for entertaining when coffee will be consumed in a short amount of item.
