Reviews are totally misleading – most are not for this item! I recently purchased the Secura Burr Coffee Grinder Mill, in part, based upon the excellent reviews. I’ve used it for several days now, and I’m shocked that no one mentioned what a mess it makes! Grounds go everywhere. Upon looking closer at the reviews, I find that very few of them even mention this coffee grinder. Most are for a French press. Very disappointed in Amazon for misrepresenting a product like this!

Seems solidly-built, and works well. I had a blade grinder that worked OK, but – especially when trying to produce a consistent fine grind for Espresso – just didn’t quite meet the mark. So I bought this inexpensive burr grinder. You can set a wide range of fineness, and also set a timer. I’m not sure why the latter is important – it’s easy to stand by the machine & turn it on & off, and it grinds so quickly that there’s no real need to walk away from it. Tipping and knocking safe. This would be our 3rd burr grinder and my husband likes it better than our expensive one. The top fits nicely and keeps the beans in there even if you accidentally knock or tip the machine. Our last machine would leave beans all over the counter if it was nudged.
