Disappointed I have been using a Russell Hobbs kettle for years and years so when it quit last week I ordered another. I just received it today and what a disappointment. The stainless is MUCH thinner than my last kettle and it is a lot louder when heating up. The second HUGE disappointment was the giant plastic bulb that backs up the temperature gauge. What were you thinking?? Who wants to boil water every morning in a stainless tea kettle that has HUGE piece of plastic in it. I mean come on. Why go with…
This beauty leaks!!! Don’t be lured by good looks! Mine worked fine for a few weeks. Then it started to leak! Water accumulates in the temperature gauge. Ok. But also out the bottom. Leave water init overnight? The water will be on your counter in the morning!
Awesome aesthetics, poor value Awesome aesthetics, poor value. I expected more for the price.The base is the same as you would get on a 30$ E-Kettle. Cheapo handle, lid, and on switch. Iâd keep looking if it were a personal purchase.
