The Puroast story begins while I’m sitting on a Venezuelan coffee farm one morning and I’m served a cup of coffee by my host. The same fellow who grew, roasted and brewed the beans. The taste was unlike any coffee I had ever had. Savory, rich and very smooth. No bitterness. I assumed this great taste was because I was on a coffee farm, like drinking wine in a vineyard. It turns out the secret to this flavor was how heat was used in roasting. I knew then that I wanted to learn how to create a coffee that is pure to the art of roasting. Puroast Coffee. After a long journey, we found the right flavor and Puroast Coffee was born. So my brother and I start selling Puroast in local stores in California, people loved the taste and then we find out there’s a lot more to the story. Mixed in with the compliments about taste, we received comments telling us Puroast Coffee didn’t upset customers’ stomachs or aggravate their heartburn. Brew it like your normal coffee or it’ll be too strong. I love it! I really love this coffee. I started having sensitivity to my regular coffee, so I wanted to find a low acid alternative. If I brewed this according to the recommendation though, it was be way too strong and would likely be gross like others have complained. I use the same amount that I used of my previous brand and it is perfect. I love the subtle hazelnut flavor. I drink mine black, so it adds a nice hint of flavor to each cup. Good flavor, low acid, somewhat weak I bought this for the low acid aspect. I like flavored coffee (hazelnut in particular) and pour a lot of creamer in so can’t really attest to the flavor without my creamer in it. I only drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning because I’m super sensitive to caffeine, but also to the acid in coffee. I also purchase the decaf whole version of this brand as well. I get to have that cup of coffee in the morning without the dread of acid throat from reflux :)It has a good flavor– nothing weird…
This former coffee lover has returned! Most coffee upsets my stomach and I had to stop drinking coffee for a long time. Now this coffee lover has returned! This brand makes me happy to start my day with a cup. The flavor is rich but smooth and I can’t tell difference in taste from other coffee brands. In fact I like it so much better because I get all the flavor without any of the side effects of regular coffees. I highly recommend this coffee. You can even find it in half decaf here on Amazon.
