Excellent heat retention I was skeptical about buying this as all the previous reviewers received free products, and I’ve never had a stainless steel carafe, so I bought a glass-lined one first. HOT HOT HOT! I would give this product more stars if I could. I just can’t believe how long our coffee stayed hot. I purchased this to bring coffee to an outdoor event. Made the coffee at 7am. It was STILL hot when we got home at 7pm! 12 hours. PLUS the high temperature outside on the day of the event was only about 40 degreesF so, yes, I am very pleased with this product! Holds heat great! It’s a good product. Holds hot for a very long time.One thing I wish it had was a handle on the body of it for pouring when cleaning. It’s a little bit awkward to handle. Having said that, I can find no air pots that have handles on them but it sure would make the product easier to handle for cleaning purposes.
