The siliver color has fadded after only “1” cleaning! While I received this item VERY quickly… ordered on a Sunday, got it the next day! I am VERY disappointed in the fact that as soon as I washed it it discolored and now looks OLD and crappy! I only washed in in hot soapy water and it looks as if the the silver finish completely rubbed off. The coffee tastes much better from this unit as opposed to the automatic coffee makers, but I’m just real happy about the silver finish looking kind of copperish now. It’s Okay! Every time we make coffee there are coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup. We even put in coffee liners and still the same thing. I guess if you grind your own coffee it may not happen. Not bad other wise.
