Paint Changes Color/Burns — Functions Otherwise Adorable. Nice clear red. Maybe a bit more orange than it looks on my monitor. Function seems acceptable. As other reviewers have noted, the paint seems to scorch a bit and discolor (red is Iooking blackened) near the bottom where the pot is directly on the heat. If the paint starts peeling or bubbling I will have to return it. At this point I’m looking at it as a “patina” from use. If you want your appliances to look pristine you will be unhappy.

The color is beautiful and it looks just lovely on the stove top The color is beautiful and it looks just lovely on the stove top. Easy to use and easy to clean; looks a bit less sturdy than my stainless steel espresso maker, but still does as well of a job.
