Noisy and expensive to run This product runs the whole time that it is plugged in without going into the warm mode. Not only does it cost more money to run but the noise that it makes while working is active the entire time that it is plugged in. Also, the inside is not polished stainless steel. I would not recommend this product, especially if you’re an observant Orthodox Jew who needs to keep the kettle plugged in over the sabbath.
Works as great as it looks! CAREFUL OF THE SMALL PIECE INSIDE BOTTOM OF STEM, IF IT IS LOST THE PERCOLATOR WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY. Warning aside, this beautiful smaller-sized urn, works as great as it looks! I have used both this urn and the larger (50 cup) model, they are the same except for size. I had some consternation after looking at some of the negative reviews, but their “gripes” are apparently inaccurate, not surprising to me.
