Robust and flavorful! I was surprised to find that this little-known coffee was bursting with flavor every sip, gurg, and sniffle. I have had island brews aplenty but this one is going on my list of favorites. Talk about the little coffee that could! I am pleased to recommend this to those who enjoy a more robust coffee flavor profile.
This is a dark roast whole bean so it has … This is a dark roast whole bean so it has a more bitter/stronger flavor. I’m partial to a milder medium roast which is why I rated it 3 stars. I could not find anywhere in the description that it was a dark roast. The beans themselves are smaller as they should be for a Peaberry and have a shine from the oils from being a darker roast. Since I hand grind they do grind very smoothly. On the package it says ‘Packed for Mulvadi’ so to me this implies they don’t have their own coffee plantation…
