8 MONTHS OLD!!!… Hole in bag. Unacceptable to have roasted the beans 8 months ago and sell to a customer. The recommendation for fresh beans is 1 month… I could even accept 2 months by the time the customer receives them. But 8 MONTHS!! I have read countless reviews other brands and all Lavazza lines of whole beans and thought this was a right choice for my flavor profile I was looking for. Great espresso Great balance in flavor. Makes excellent lattes. When ordering in the summer check the temperature when it arrives. I have received some orders that registered over 130 degrees on a digital thermometer. It must sit in a hot delivery van all day. Not ideal shipping conditions for coffee or any food item.
