Beans or rocks? Coffee was fine but a little on the harsh side (not as smooth as Supercrema). Then this rock made its way into the grinder of my super automatic. The grinder is powerful but no match for this. I didn’t want to disassemble my machine at 6:15 am but had no choice. Hopefully my gears don’t start slipping.I can see no reason why a rock of this size makes it through their process. If this is normal and I have to inspect each bean going into my machine, I’ll buy another brand.

Ooooooo, I finally found something that works. This is a nice bean. I have been looking for good beans for espresso, and I like the results of this a lot. It’s not terribly bold or dark which results in a less bitter shot. I just have a mid range Breville machine so I’m no bistro, but this definitely makes a good latte.I also tried the Super Crema. It’s also a good bean, but it has a little more flavor. I definitely prefer this bean personally, and I plan on purchasing more Lavazza in the future.

Stronger Flavor than Super Crema We used Lavazza Super Crema for years and enjoyed it immensely but when we purchased our latest super automatic coffee machine, the Super Crema just didn’t have enough taste. After trying many beans, we finally found Lavazza Caffe Espresso and couldn’t be happier. We use this bean to make coffee and the stronger taste fits our pallet perfectly. It is a pretty dry bean so it works really well in our super auto machine. Highly recommended!
