Unfortunately – this is nothing special The roast on the beans leave a slightly bitter edge to the flavor. Our usual coffee is Trader Joe’s Columbian and it is a little smoother flavor and is less expensive. No complaints, Jose’s brand is not bad, just nothing special.
As espresso the taste is sharp and sometimes bitter. Occasionally it is like almonds. Crema is thin. Tasty little number Excellent coffee, and considering the price – a great deal ! Very impressed. I just bought the vanilla beans too so I’ll be testing out those little bast*rds real soon me mateys’.Stay thirsty my friends……
