Darker than expected for a Kona blend This coffee is difficult for me to rate. Do I rate it for what it is or do I rate it for what I had expected and hoped it might be? First the facts of the beans in the bag…This is a good quality medium dark (at least full city+ and maybe even a light Vienna*) roast coffee. Beans are of uniform size with very few broken/fractured beans in the bag which indicates some care has been taken in handling throughout the selection/grading/roasting process. Jeremiah’s Bulk Kona Blend This is my 8th repeat purchase of this blend. Beans are fresh.. Obviously it is a blend and just has a little Kona in it…I roast at least 10 lbs. pure green Kona per year…So it’s hard to compare to the real thing. I imagine the larger percentage of beans are a quality Columbian type bean … but it is mild and low acidic. Quality control and roasting is consistent bag after 5 lb bag. Not a really dark roast… but I have yet to have anyone complain about it. Especially if you like to drink…

Makes a great cup of coffee Wow I guess I did not know how much 5 lbs of coffee really is. Ha! I’ve shared this with a friend.I’m normally a decaf drinker but drink this on days when I need an extra push.It’s good and strong. I use a creamer and I use about the same amount.
