Simply measure cold water into the pot using the marked water levels inside. Place basket onto the stem and set them into the water. Measure regular ground coffee (2-tablespoons per cup) into the basket, place the top onto the basket, and cover the pot with the lid. Bring water to a boil, then immediately turn down the heat to low. Allow coffee to perk for several minutes or until it reaches the desired strength. Coffee will be very hot, so please use caution. Perfect addition to outdoor entertaining, hiking and camping gear, too. Made from 18/8 stainless steel, HIC’s Coffee Percolator is FDA approved and heat safe to 600-degrees Fahrenheit. One Star Does not fit my farberware classic 8 cup stove top peculator.
Too big. This was described as the part that … Too big. This was described as the part that fits into the percolator is 1â…Actually this is 1-3/16â. It was too big and no returns on this product. My loss.
This coffee pot is terrible don’t recommend purchasing at all. The HIC Stovetop Coffee Percolator did not function properly it was terrible. I returned it and Amazon screwed up they think I returned something else.
