Would be very nice if lid were not so cheaply made I really like the idea of this 2-in-1 coffee and tea maker. The coffee tastes good and it’s nice not needing to leave a tea kettle on the stove. However, there are a couple things that don’t work properly. The lid on the water reservoir is very cheap. It buckled from the heat of the lights under the cabinet almost immediately. We have had multiple coffee pots and this never happened. My husband has to tape the lid down with black electrical tape just to keep it (sort of) in place while brewing…
It is big, you need plenty of counter space for this Love the large capacity of this coffeemaker. This one will make way more than one or two cups of hot chocolate or tea. We have a large family, and the hot water feature is so simple to use, my kids can get their own hot cocoa or tea. We really like it.
The coffee maker and hot water dispenser works as described … The coffee maker and hot water dispenser works as described. We had two previous coffee makers by Cuisinart, both of which began leaking after about six months use. For now, the Hamilton Beach has it’s five starts.
