This is a Review for the 3 Cup version of this product This is pretty small. I’m not sure whether this review will get mixed in with a similar but larger percolator by the same manufacturer. The one the recipient of this gift received makes 3 cups. 3 6 – oz. cups? F if I know. Too small for the price as far as I’m concerned. There is a 6 cup version which I would think PROBABLY translates in reality to holding/making 2 or 3 8 – 10 oz cups of coffee. They might as well use the metric system when measuring cups if you ask me. Good luck…

Simple to use, simple to clean, makes coffee like we had in the 60s I’ve used this little perkolator on my gas stove top eight times as of this writing. Each time filling it up to the three cup mark, using approximately two rounded tablespoons of Folgers classic roast grounds and I get the perfect (in my opinion) mug of stronger than a K cup of coffee. I let it perk for about 3-4 minutes, small burner, medium/low heat setting. I tried 5-6 minutes and I get what tastes like Cowboy coffee, a bit stronger, more bitter, which I like.
