No Coffee Today Farberware quality has gone down hill in the last few years. I bought this percolator to replace a 35 year old same model same brand percolator that still works. I thought a newer model might make the coffee even hotter. The new one has 2 cracks in the base and is such thin stainless steel that it turns brown and stained after each pot is made. Buyers beware I purchased this pot on 7/3 and used exactly 4 times. I noticed the coffee was not hot but barely above being just warm. When I tried it the 5th time, it did not work at all. We purchased 3 pots prior to this one and all needed to be returned for the same reason. I will never purchase another one
