FarberwAre percolator no longer brews after less than 60 days I had an electric farberwAre percolator for more than ten years. It made the best and hottest coffee! It recently died, so I ordered a new one which was shipped on April 19. I could tell right away it was not of the same quality, lighter with cheaper metal. As of June 13 it is no longer working, but I my return date to Amazon expired May 19. Amazon should facilitate replacement from the manufacturer especially for long time prime customers. A good cup of coffee. This was an open box and just like my other open box purchases looks/works great. I got tired of the plastic brewers that you could never clean real well and never lasted. Only had it for about a month will update if it doesn’t last. Great coffee with the sounds and smells of mom making breakfast when I was growing up. Brews fast, you don’t need a filter, (does make cleanup go faster) you will end up with a few grounds at the bottom but I sometimes remember being able to chew the last cup in…
Inferior product! Worked great in the beginning. Coffee was piping hot and tasty. Less than 4 months later and I’m having to microwave the coffee because it’s not hot enough. Made a big pot and it came out weak ( and that was with double the coffee ). I’ve bought these same models for years and they have lasted for years. It’s quite obvious that they are using inferior parts in these percolators. This is NOT what I paid for and it was not cheap.
