Not as fragile as they look First bought the Bodum version, thinking that it was the most recognizable brand for a reason. Kept buying new Bodums after the mugs cracked – sometimes just from setting them down on the countertop with a bit more force – thinking that it was simply a flaw of the delicate-looking design, and something I’d have to live with. They work! Recommend these mugs for someone looking to keep their coffee hot. Seem to one of the few insulated mugs that is dishwasher safe (microwave too). Read on review about their being fragile. Time will tell.UPDATE 1 MONTH LATER. These are now my husband’s favorite coffee mugs. Great in the dishwasher and don’t seem as fragile as some other reviewers had noted. May have to get some more!
Light & Sturdy These mugs are great! Very lightweight and a decent size. I always worry glass mugs will be smaller than stated and I like a good sized cup of coffee! I plan to order more.
